Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a good week and has an even better weekend! Our Fall Fiesta is this Sunday and I hope I will see many of you there!
On Monday, students should be returning their memoir note pages filled in with a story from a family members childhood. We are going to use these stories to write a memoir in the coming weeks. Next Wednesday, October 25, we will be having our Chapter 2 Math Test. This was a BIG unit and we learned and reviewed a lot of information. The test will cover place value (what are digits worth in numbers), comparing numbers (greater than, less than, equal to), ordering numbers (least to greatest & greatest to least), estimation, rounding, and skip counting number patterns. We will spend Monday and Tuesday reviewing these concepts in class to prepare for the test, but reviewing at home is always helpful! Our next unit will be all about graphing! On Friday, October 27, we will be having our pizza party for 100% Dance-A-Thon participation. And, finally, here are the spelling words for the pre-test on Monday. Students who get all (or most!) of these words correct will be given the "Challenge" List for the week. Week 7 Words: Initial consonant blends “Pl” and “Sl” words
